Smalltime YouTube Producer Lands Multi Million Dollar Contract!

A producer, Fede Alvarez from Uruguay who uploaded a short film to YouTube recently has been offered a whopping $30 million contract to make a Hollywood film.

The movie will be sponsored by director Sam Raimi, whose credits include the Spiderman and Evil Dead films. Fede Alvarez's short film "Ataque de Panico!" (Panic Attack!) features giant robots and alien space ships invading and destroying Montevideo, Uruguay.

Here's the video. It's pretty well done and cost peanuts - just $300!!!

only observation to point out:

at 1:11 - the guy in the car gets freaked out by the giant, slow moving robots...but instead of getting back in his car and driving off at 90 mph...he runs away...

I hope the movie he got paid to produce is the entire story based on this short film...i am terribly intrigued...

Exactly what I thought! (Wise men think alike, right? )
Did his car stall probably due to EM interference from those robots?
