I have noticed Icons with "Warn" below some of the users avatars, could someone please explain?

this is really a board question, should be in that thread...

The warns are warnings that those people have been given my Mods for not following guidlines or breaking the rules...

excessive quoting, being disruptive... etc.

I wasnt aware of the new policy until I was slammed with one for talking about offensive subject matter.

Note I was not guilty of excessive quoting or personal attacks.

no....

the warns you see are actual warnings ("hey, cool your heels")...after so many warnings you get a small vacation (72 hours i believe) from the board to think about your behavior...

the warnings people get for one liners and quotes are not the same warnings...they just take away points and are merely a reminder..."raise your standards of posting please". you dont get an actual warn after so many of these either.
