I think time is not real, just a false measurement created by man. There is only distance,we are only here now....always now. This may explain why we sometimes "feel" a "time shift" It's all in your head.

I was in high school. I woke up at about 5:30am (I don't remember the exact time I woke up). The radio is on and a song is ending.

After glancing at the clock, I turn my head and try to get afew more minutes of sleep before I get up.

But something odd happens. The song that just ended starts over. I glance back at the time and it's 5:27am. I laid there determined not to getup until 5:30am. During the 5:30am minute, the song ended.

That's my unexciting story from the mid to late 1980s. The only thing I can offer is that I've seen two UFOs; one being "the triangle."

I had something very similar happen.

I remember watching television a few years back (maybe 10?) and hearing that Gloria Gaynor (sp) died. I only knew who she was because they mentioned she was the one who sang the song "I Will Survive" and wasn't it ironic that she had died? Of cancer, I think.

I remember telling my colleagues about it. Then I find out she's still alive!

I've always wondered about this. I wasn't asleep, I don't do drugs, and the only alcohol in the house we use for cleaning purposes.

Freaky.

I've only had one experience like that, that I've noticed anyway. I was watching television, something I do often. There's always a two hour block on Fox 11 from 6-8pm There are shows A, B, C, D. Show A had just finished and I clearly remember seeing the end credits for show A and then commercials then show C begins. At first I thought maybe they had just switched the sitcoms around but when I looked at my clock it was 7pm. I lost thirty minutes or so.

Confidently, that was the same year that I began to experience sleep paralysis.

quantum physic suggests that the mind extends both through time & space outside of the body. A friend of mine was borrowing my computer to send an e-mail, i was in the room sitting on the couch, when he finished typing it out he went to read it out to me and I heard a voice in my head reading out each of the words a moment or 2 before my friend actually spoke them. It was pretty disconcerting and I had to break line of sight to be able to stop from laughing in disbelief!

P.S) its happened a couple of times with different people when I'm particularly 'balanced'

I have had the same thing once but without the music, just noticed the time difference.

Woke up in pain with a bad back, looked at the clock at it was 04:32

Roll around in agony for a while (was not asleep I can be certain of that!) look at the clock again and it 05:11

Finally drift off back to sleep and wake up once more but this time the clock had 04:16 on it. Sit up and stay awake beyond 04:32 and nothing happens. Was very strange, nothing else happened apart for the shift in time and the fact I was not in agony anymore but it does come and go so no direct link as far as I can tell.

I experienced a time shift once when I was driving with my father. The weird thing is I have seen 11:11 on the clock earlier in the day. Not sure if 11:11 has anything to do with this.

Wow!

About 10 years ago, I was in high school. I was band geek, and we were on the way to a football game. The stadium was about an hour drive from our school, and the band took 4 school buses. The buses always stayed in convoy, and had a police escort. One patrol car in front, and one in back. My friends and I were sitting in the back of bus #2.

Now on the way to the stadium there is a levee system to prevent flooding. The road goes up and over the crest of the first levee, down into a valley for a mile, and up and over the crest of the other levee.

So we are there talking and we go over the first levee and into the valley. The other buses follow, as normal. My best friend and I are looking back at the buses, because the rest of our friends are sitting behind us.

We go over the next levee, but to our surprise . . . the other buses never crest the levee. It is a straight shot for twenty more minutes to the stadium, and the other buses never come over the levee. We figured they broke down or something. Did not think anything of it.

So we turn into the parking lot of the stadium, and we lose sight of the roadway due to a big brick wall. Suddenly, the other buses turn the corner into the parking lot . . . with a distance that made it look like they had been there in the convoy the whole time.

We asked the kids on the other buses what happened, because they had stopped. They said that they never stopped, and were behind us the whole time.

We freaked out. We still reminisce of that time warp sometimes.

Another time, maybe 6 years ago at a concert, I went to a concert. There was three bands playing. I really wanted to see the second band, because they were one of my favorite bands at the time. I somehow missed their set. I was in front of the stage the whole time, and I was sober, as I was the designated driver.

As we are walking out, everyone is talking about how good that band was live, and that they played better than the headliner . . . and I never heard them play it!

By the way . . . I specifically remember Walter Cronkite dying in the late 80's. They mad a big deal about it, and I was not even ten years old. I was like . . . "yeah, he was just some news guy . . . what's the big deal?!"

And Ed McMahon died in 1997 or 1998. The reason that Star Search was taken off was because he was sick. At least that is what the news report said back then.

i had something happen a little while ago, probably a few months ago now, and im thinking that maybe i experienced some sort of time shift?

i remember every detail of what happened because i was so awe struck that i immediately got a voice recorder and recorded exactly what happened so i wouldnt forget...lol. i was in my room eating ice cream. i got up to put my ice cream away in the kitchen and the clock on the microwave in the kitchen said 12:25. that clock is 3 minutes faster than the clock in my room, so when i went back to my room my clock was at 12:22. i laid down in bed for a moment, and it was too hot in my room to get comfortable, so i went to lay on the couch in the living room. i laid there for what felt like 15-20 mins. i ended up leaving the couch to go back to my room because the ceiling fan in the living room was making too much noise and it was driving me nuts. but when i went back to my room, the clock said 12:24. so according to my clock only 2 mins had passed. but i know damn well that i spent at least 2 mins in my room initially trying to get comfortable before i even went out to the couch...it was strange. it hasnt happened since that i've noticed. but i was quite shocked! Thank you to the OP for starting this thread, its nice to read other experiences that are somewhat similar. i dont feel as weird now

I had a many experiences of this, but the one I remember the best is when I was around 8.

It was near christmas, in the north of Quebec, I always wanted to see an Aurora but failed to. One night, my father wakes me up and begins to open the door, point me the Aurora. After that moment I have no memories of anything. I wake up in the morning, thinking that I dreamed about the "near aurora", but, at my surprise, my dad asks me

- So, how was the Aurora?

I was like.. wut? :\
Never really knew if it was a timeshift or because I was sleepy..

Having read these stories I started to think about it and I have experienced similar things too.

There are times when I wake up and check out the time on my cellphone, then I go back to sleep only to wake up again to check the time and see that it's actually earlier than what I saw earlier. I've never really thought too much about it as I always think I was sleepy and making things up but it is interesting and from now on I'll try to pay more attention to this sort of stuff.

Other than that it's always creepy when I'm kind of sleepy and suddenly I regain full consciousness and notice that I'm in a different place of the house without knowledge of how I got there. It always leaves me with a sense of uneasiness. =P

I've done the same thing. Wake up in the middle of the night and look a the clock. It says one time. Then go back to sleep. Wake up a few hours later and find the time is earlier than the first time I woke up. Weird. I usually think, "Great! At least I'll get more sleep!"

Ive had several time slips, however these are my favorite:

Story One

It was year 2000 and I was sitting infront of my boyfriends apartment around 5:30pm waiting for him to get home, since I didnt have a key. I also didnt have a cell phone at the time so my only option was waiting.

I was waiting in my car for around 45 minutes when I noticed a woman with her children dressed in halloween costumes (this might have been on halloween night but i dont remember specifically) and I thought to myself how strange. The woman gets her kids in her car and drives off, and low and behold, when her car pulls away- there is my boyfriends car- sitting there in the drive!!!!

Flabergasted I go inside and ask him when he arrived- he said about 20 minutes ago- I asked him- Did you see me sitting out there ive been waiting 45 minutes for you? He said he didnt.

Story Two

Most of my timeslips happen around my cats for some strange reason. Kind of like in the matrix where the same black kitty walks by twice. My first ever time slip was in the year 1998, I had just gotten home from work and I was walking to my front door and my cat buttons was outside and rubbing against my leg to let her inside. I abliged and let her in the house and watched her walk through the hall way towards the kitchen.

When I reached the Kitchen my jaw dropped. There was my cat standing outside on the outdoor steps meowing to let her inside! I was shocked and freaked out a little bit- called a mystic friend of mine who assured me that it was alright and that cats and other animals have the ability to timeslip.

Since then, I have witnessed numerous times- kitties appear on otherside of doors when they wouldnt be- and kitties being places they just shouldnt be, Kitties be menacing creatures!!! (but i love them!)
