Hmmm... So why couldn't the "currently unknown process" that caused the first 1/6th of warming also have caused the second 5/6th of warming? And why couldn't that of caused the warming that we are seeing today? In any case that article is from 2004, and I hope climate studies have progressed since then.

Ultra-simplified version:
1. The Earth temps increase due to orbit and solar changes.
2. The oceans warm and release CO2.
3. The increased CO2 causes temperatures to increase.
4. More CO2 from human activity multiplies the effect.

Currently, we have record low solar output mixed in with an El Nino phase:

Nature of our global fiscal system is profits come first. I'd expect more of the same disinfo and skewed data, as the battle continues between fossil fuels vs renewable energy.

NASA's forecasting gets rather ridiculous too.

Scientists Predict Big Solar Cycle NASA

Dec. 21, 2006: Evidence is mounting: the next solar cycle is going to be a big one.

Solar cycle 24, due to peak in 2010 or 2011 "looks like its going to be one of the most intense cycles since record-keeping began almost 400 years ago," says solar physicist David Hathaway of the Marshall Space Flight Center. He and colleague Robert Wilson presented this conclusion last week at the American Geophysical Union meeting in San Francisco.

New Solar Cycle Prediction May NASA

May 29, 2009: An international panel of experts led by NOAA and sponsored by NASA has released a new prediction for the next solar cycle. Solar Cycle 24 will peak, they say, in May 2013 with a below-average number of sunspots.

"If our prediction is correct, Solar Cycle 24 will have a peak sunspot number of 90, the lowest of any cycle since 1928 when Solar Cycle 16 peaked at 78," says panel chairman Doug Biesecker of the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center.

I guess then that we should all submit to the bankers and the globalists.

And while we waste time on this BS crisis, there's dozens of other MUST MORE IMPORTANT environmental crises but no one is talking about those. What a joke.

And if you really wanted to expose the oil corporations, you could expose how they own the patents for alternative energies or that the government helps them, fight wars for them, and make hemp illegal for them...and then we should trust them about global warming and their BS solution?

Everyone in Britain should have an annual carbon ration and be penalised if they use too much fuel, the head of the Environment Agency will say.

And then you add all their hundreds of statements on how humans are pure trash that need to die...yeah we should totally trust eugenicists! Let's trust Hitler!

SUBMIT!!!!!!!!!!! SLAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Global warming *cough* I mean climate change is nothing more than the 26,000 year cycle called the Precession of the Equinoxes. We are actually due an ice age in the next few hundred years...
