One of the Reasons the West has not been invaded is because they have nukes, if they did not maybe with human nature it would be a never ending war in
all coutries, we would all be in a 3rd world state, so it is better for some countries to expand organisation and tranquility than there being total
chaos, maybe bring hope in helping others, no doubt there are some greedy people out there.
But Iran holds some interesting Bible prophecy predictions and is part of a war that is not Armageddon or the Apocalpse as they say but another called
Gog and Magog.
Ezekiel 38 mentions Iran-Persia and Russia in their previous names. Ethiopia is mentioned but the current area is now Somalia, which if they gain more
ground could in fact swollow up Ethiopia. They say sometimes that Ethiopia hold the Ark of the Covenant, what if that comes to those in the wrong
hands, will it back fire on them?
It was only a quarter century ago that Iran was a good friend of America, and thus the scenario depicted by the prophet Ezekiel concerning a
Last Days alliance between Persia and Russia looked to be impossible. But today, Iran is a Russian nuclear client state with close ties to terrorist
organizations such as al-Qaeda and Hezbollah. Iran and the multi-tentacled terrorist infrastructure emanating from Teheran and Damascus are dedicated
to the destruction of both the United States and Israel.
It is important to remember that, until 1979, not only was Iran a close ally of the United States, it was also one of the most heavily Westernized
nations in the Islamic world. Then with the Islamic revolution, Shah Pahlavi was deposed, and the fanatical Islamic Mullahs came to power, and Iran
quickly became America’s worst nightmare. Prophecy scholars should have taken note of this amazing turnabout in Iran, for it was the landmark event
that laid the geo-political foundation for Persia's inclusion in Ezekiel’s Gog-Magog scenario. Prior to 1979, it didn't seem to make any sense
that a western friendly Iran, could find itself part of a Russian-led invasion on the mountains of Israel? But that is the reason that Bible prophecy
is so interesting and requires ongoing circumspect. Looked at from this perspective, it is nothing short of amazing that Ezekiel could so confidently
pen the exact roster of nations that will move against Israel in the last days from his vantage point in history almost 2,600 years ago! (Persia,
Libya, Ethiopia, Gomer, and Togarmah)

Shah Pahlavi was a despotic united states puppet clown oppressing the populace who was kicked out by popular revolt.
Living under the so called "fanatical Islamic Mullahs" was a more popular choice than life under the US puppet clown.. not hard to understand. This
uprising was a lesson in "be careful what you wish for", they kicked out a real turd that was replaced by festering crap.
Average iranians wanted a RETURN to democracy, which "the land of the free" killed with operation ajax... but the mullahs were quick to fill the
power vacuum of revolution.
Prophecy, and all that, are nothing but words from the past to be ignored... ancient opinions are just that, old stale ideas. The future isn't
guaranteed, and the past is only useful IF you lean from it.
Why is it that doctors are the only profession that apply lessons learned from history? they document trial & error.. they teach what works, and what
fails. If only politicians did the same, they might see vietnam like wars & occupations historically fail humanity, kill innocent souls and result in
massive suffering... but oh boy are they profitable.
Looks like the bankers are "doctors of money making", they know from history that wars, strife, disease and killing are good business.
