Flagstaff clinic ‘over’ doses 7 children with H1N1 vaccine

This is scary. As if the risk of the shot is not bad enough, now you have to add human error to the mix.

FLAGSTAFF, AZ -- Health department officials in Coconino County have admitted that several patients were given the wrong dosage of the swine flu vaccine at a clinic over the weekend. "They drew up too much of the vaccine into the syringe," said Coconino County Health Department Director Barbara Worgess. Seven children under the age of 4-years old were given shots with the dosage meant for children ages 5 through 18.

How incredibly stupid ....You would think that with kids that young they would be extra careful and double or triple check before plunging the needle in....Idiots...I hope these little ones will be okay..But somehow I doubt it..

Yeah not just the vaccine itself but all additives as well. I also hope they are ok. There was no mention if there were any side effects.
