"Recovery:" A beautiful image

Fantastic picture of a New York Times cover page from 1934, the depths of the Great Depression, announcing that "recovery is underway." Um, sorry folks, but you'll have to wallow in misery for more than another half decade until WWII.

I also love the fact that the paper cost 2 cents. (My 2 cents... yuck yuck yuck).

The mainstream media...gotta laugh or you're gonna cry.

That really says alot right there. They are pretty much saying the same thing today when in reality we are still in the starts of a depression.
