The High oOurt in UK has ruled that the torture documents of a UK resident can be released. The resident was tortured by the US in Morocco and David Milband just said today that we cannot release US intelligence documents in UK because it would be like US courts asking for release of UK intelligence documents. He says that other countries have to be sure that their secrets are safe.

UK must have been involved in this torture and I dont understand what future intelligence sharing will be compromised by this being made public

There is absolutely, positively, no chance of these documents ever seeing the light of day no matter what the UK has to say about it. The United States of America is not in the business of letting their secrets hang out to dry like laundry on laundry day! We here on ATS know this all too well. The government will of the USA will never allow this to be seen through. The most important question is...What gives the right to another nation to release OUR secerts for the world to see? The second important question is... Why in the world would the USA allow another government to do this? We will see, I personally will be following this one...
