Maybe this is a stupid question, but why wasn't the boy in school? Are they out on holiday, or is he an afternoon session kindergartner?

I'm watching a live feed on abc first they said he was in there now they are saying he's not in there.

I bet this father made up a BS story and will now say something like we thought he was in it but it turns out he was at a friends house. Better safe than sorry. Send dad the bill for the emergency services for this little "project". That will make him think twice before being so irresponsible. I am sure the bill for this will be at least $50-60k.

There was no one in the balloon. No further news about Falcon, the boy. This is actually worse news for me.

I REALLY hope the boy jumped out before the balloon took off and is just hiding because he's afraid he's going to get in trouble.

Well hopefully it was a prank, because if he was in there and now he's not, then it most likely teared at a higher altitude and he fell out to his death.

Holy crap, i hope this is just a stupid hoax...this would be a very distasteful one at that, but i hope it's what it is.

I dunno, it's better than the worse news. As it could well be that he accidently let his dads project go, and got scared so he legged it to a friends house to try and keep out of trouble.
