With the advancements in Sciene that are going on today, wouldn't it be possible to eventually clone Jesus. They could theoretically make an exact genetic copy of him. All it would take is some genetic material, and I'm sure their is most likely some somewhere. What if this could be the Anti-Christ. Somebody makes a clone of Jesus, and the world would basically flock to his every demand. Who is to say that the clone would be good either, it might have his exact dna structure, but the personality could be very different. He could be raised from a very young age to follow the will of someone else. He could also be born of a "virgin." Just a thought.

The toughest part would be to obtain a feasable genetic sample...Do you know anyone who might have a piece of The True Cross with His bloodstains on it? Then you'd have to analyze the sample to weed out "unviable" gentic material...Cellular mytosis & other effects of aging over the centuries that would render a sample as unusable.

However, there's also the question that, even if we *could*, it this something that *should* be done...All it takes is one genius maniac to ruin life for the entire human race.

Who cares?
There is nothing special about his physical body, you might as well make a maniquin.

It was his spirit that was unique, and that can inhabit ANY body if they give their life to him.

If there is a body without his spirit that misleads the people to his own whim, might that be an anti-christ.

Feasibly, I dont think that there is a single remaining artifact of him after two-thousand years, unless you found his skeleton or something, and that is still a bit sketchy. The shroud of turin is too young for him and by now any viable genetic material will have degenerated. You might as well try elvis (
it was a joke, please don't

Can't clone Elvis, he is still alive, so no body to dig up.

Besides, why clone him? He isn't important. Use cloning to say, clone someone who had a organ problem, then grow that clone and when ready for it, organ transplant.(only works if person has long time to live) Or when a person is born, make clone of it, so if ever need a transplant, there you go. Now, what if the clone would die? Well, to bad. I know, bloodthirsty, heartless, but a person is nothing more than a vessel for the brain, the brain is the only thing you need. If u have heart problems, can replace it. If you have brain problems, you screwed.

Besides, the clone is just a vessel for organs, just like original person is. Just used for it's organs and blood and so forth. Sure, at first only people with money can make clones. But bet there clones would match blood type of someone else, so there you go. One clone could save ten people.

True, but someone who could get him cloned might not be a person with any ethics, scruples or morals...Then raise the child through manipulation & deception. How many "true believers" could be led astray by such a person...
