Ms. UK - I should ask - are you a birder - for real?

is it your choice?

or is it as I have always suspected - the British are required by law to go birding?

:-)

Only the british males Ms mirabilis-----they're always on a birding hunt, especially on a friday and saturday night.

hmmmm....guess it would be silly

:-)

I ask - because this is how I was raised

www.audubon.org...

knee deep in snow - sub zero temperatures - nothing but chickadees for hours and hours...

nothing - but chickadees

and that's just a tiny part of it

no need to keep it a secret MS. UK - there are more of us than you know :-)

me too

I live in the city now - had a feeder - they made me take it down - seems people think singing birds are very annoying...and have cooties

...sigh...

I miss my birds :-(

but - the city still has plenty of wildlife in it - anyhow - so, I'm happy

saw a kingfisher just the other day - my first one ever - in the city

it's as if you were there... (but the ones I picked up were usually dead)

my dad was nearly an ornithologist - my mom - a city girl

a very Green Acres situation :-)

she really did think birds were stupid
