From the link you supplied which is actually a very good link debunking of the whole Ron Wyatt 'theory' or fabrication.

A group calling themselves the Archaeological Research Foundation (ARF), investigated the "ship" with the full cooperation of the Turkish government in the summer of 1960. After doing preliminary excavation and dynamiting one of the sides, they concluded that the formation was only a freak of nature, a clay upthrust in a lava field. No artifacts or petrified wood were found.

There was a firmament (water canopy) above the earth before Noah's flood which provided constant, warm climate across all regions of the earth.
Another finding is that the ages of people before Noah's flood is quite high ( 900s).
Methuselah is the oldest man that ever lived on earth.
After Noah's flood, the age of people fell dramatically to now the current life span (70s-80s)
