How long is this list? Let us just say my finger hurts from scrolling down so much on my mouse wheel.

Unofficial Problem Bank List

Note the list was published 8-14-09.

This is an unofficial list of Problem Banks. (Note: Reports are Colonial will be seized this afternoon)

The list is compiled from regulator press releases or from public news sources (see Enforcement Action Type link for source). The FDIC data is released monthly with a delay. The Fed and OTC data is more timely, and the OCC a little lagged. Credit: surferdude808.

Please note that Colonial Bank was seized: Read article here

Well...thankfully I'm a CU patron...

I know 2 big ones were "taken over" earlier this year, so, hopefully CU's were smarter than their cousins...

I'm surprised there aren't more listings for Michigan...it's dreadful here... :shk:

Here's the links for Failed Banks and CU's...watch on Fridays after 5pm est...

I've got an account in one bank on that list, but luckily I keep my true savings in a bank that isn't on that list

That's a fairly long list of banks. I wonder when it hits the fan..

Good question...

They *say* it will on a rationed/limited withdraw basis, but, will it be the "Greenback" or a debit card or some other devalued currency??? :shk:
