Funny that this just occured. I woke up at 5:30 and something told me to get on the usgs site and look.

When i saw chem's post about costa rica, i went back and found Puerto Rico's. The islands have been shaking for months.

There has been a big up tick in quakes today.

I think there is some sort of connection - not sure how - between these events and what happens in the near future.

It is a sort of birth pang (I imagine) - there is the contraction, the pain, and the pushing forth of what is coming.

I know animals sense (or hear) them coming. I read 10 yrs ago that water tables drop prior to quakes. Some posit that air in subterranean passges whistle at high pitches and the animals hear this.
