Why we wont 'wake up'

It takes work in our communities by us, the ones awake. Ie. form a small group and show videos. Like a survival awareness group to discuss issues and collect tools/seeds/maybe recreate a few of those free energy, magnets and wheels, that would wake people up.

The pole shift has some wake up stuff in its mechanisms too, people are going to wake up more and more, the cosmic energy and the energy released from inner earth herself is going to help.

I understand what many of you mean when you say wake up but I think the real point here is the bigger picture.
I myself know what's going on and feel powerless because most people like the status Quo and therefore don't want to be told that the deck of cards is about to fall.
I have found this site interesting and a great source of information which I then cross reference with other sites I am also a member of but even here I can see the divides that are as bad as we face in real life.
I know this may seam unfair of me to say but let me explain my reasons for saying this.
There are alot of different threads here and I see alot of posts from members for or against the topic but very few members who comment on lots of different threads as they may consider these threads to be irrelevant to what they choose to believe.
What I would consider awake to be is someone who can step back and look at the bigger picture [ie how each thread fits into the jigsaw]
Many things here are linked together but until you can fit it all together then you can't really be awake.
As for how to awaken others to what's really going on around them I find the best way is to pick a small subject to arouse there interest so that they will research it for them self's.
This way you won't come of as crazy and if they research they may well come back to you and say wow and at this point you can then talk without the fear of will they think your crazy.

Interesting idea. That tptb could be acting like our parents? I wonder if any truth could be worse than some of the atrocities they have committed? I dont think so.

If the world goes to pot... Gold and silver will be of no use to anyone.

You are right, the temptation to become immersed in commercialism is strong. I for one could never go back.

Personally, I don't agree with this. People are always 'waking up', and at the same time people are becoming more and more diluded. It's a natural process which people endure depending soley on what issues have affected or are currently affecting their life.
Say a woman who has just lost her baby to a miss-carriage reads a poster that includes the quote 'wake up'. She isn't going to care much for a mere piece of propaganda as much as a working class man with no major problems in his life would.

I am so sick and tired of hearing when are we going to wake up as we've already awoken and are now fully awake and are awakening others.

This is fact. The internet alone can cause more damage to them in a considerably shorter amount of time.

This is a very awesome thread and I feel that everyone in it has said something useful. I know I'm not saying anything new or revolutionary but I feel 100% in my heart that nobody the masses or whoever are doing anything and playing ignorant because they want suuperman, Jebus, Mothra, Captain America you, me, Uncle johnny m the next door neighbor to do it for them. If TPTB have succeeded in anything it has making us fat, lazy and socially irresponsible. basically sheeple. Hell I'll be amazed if they even celebrate their victory when it comes. It will probably be akin to having the Pittsburgh Steelers play the Ohio valley midget football team. Naywho her'es some examples ......

I have, had actually a friend total womanizer since 14 who recently got married quick as a bunny outta nowhere. His only reason. I've been living alone since I graduated High school, that's been twelve years I got tired of cooking and cleaning for myself. Needless to say his wife is a lovely girl and he cheats, treats her like ass, pretty sure he abuses her. Needless to say I do not talk to hm anymore. Look around everyone wants everything now and with no hassle.

My best friend lives in the apartment across the hall. I counted from inside his pad ( the living room is the first room to my living room ( same setup). Couch to couch is 27 steps. He has no cable and loves the Penguins (hometown NHL team) but wouldn't even get of his ass to walk across the hall to watch any of their games this week. They had five of them on since Sunday . Are you #ing kidding me.

All of us know a billion people like this. bitch, bitch, bitch and do nowt. never ever. Why should I vote it doesn't matter (on some days i may give you that), I don't care I'm gonna be dead anyway, not my problem etc. Oh the govt. will take care of that, I do'nt know. I do'nt believe that etc. Hell I believe more than half the people on these boards are full of it...

Its simple until they can jack us in ALL OF US and wake us up to everything thats going on ala ghost in the shell or the Matrix style. Then also have four clones a piece for all of us to go and do they dirty revolution work we will all continue to play dumb and act totally shocked when the time comes that we are considered prols and are speaking the new speak.

Even then I bet a good third of the population would be to bastard lazy to even give their clones orders, and just keep them at home to clean and change the channel for them.

Oh yeah a bunch of armchair bandits acting like badasses to a screen trying to impress 1,000s of people we will never ever meet. What about when they flip the switch and our precious god like internet goes away and we all actually have to put up or shut up. Yeah I think all of us will be singing a different song then. Well said. Hopefully we can improve our world. We need to figure out things we can do as individuals to bring about action. Gatherings of like-minded people and such. And if that's not enough then maybe the collapse of the dollar will be the universe forcing us to act, so to speak.

It's easy. To wake up we first have to go to sleep.

I'm totally serious.

As one of my relatives once told me, "If you can control the media, you can control the people." When the media jurassicaly changes then yes, the vast majority MIGHT start waking up. Then there are those who prefer to live in their own bubble and do not want any REAL information. They're obviously in denial. I have other relatives who do not believe anything I tell them because it is not on t.v. and I find that absolutely pathetic! Is it their fault? Well, I feel it is when their is other information presented to you but that goes into these brainwashing techniques. People are loyal to the mainstream media unfortunatley. We need some awesome technology to just break through these television stations and expose some truth!

Good point. It is important to have the strength of character to be able to know when to display your views and when not to. There are some people who are beyond help in my opinion and these people can sometimes be very damaging,

As I have said previously in this post, it is important to plant seeds and wait. There are truths that exist which can help people to realise the real situation. You just have to be able to see the patterns and hypocracy.

Current events are scary at the least. I do not let this effect me but all yo uhave to do is listen to the news and you can hear the antics of protaganists on a daily basis.

We cannot wake up the masses. Only they can wake themselves up. The best way for this to occur is for us the be a catalyst lets say. We must shape them into understanding this matter on their own.

One does not learn through having words yelled at them as it just comes in one ear and comes out the next. One learns to finding conclusions themselves.

Although this being fair and also correct, what makes you sure that "this" is the truth?

Alot of the threads in here are products of pseudoscience. That has no root in reality. You do agree on that? So who should one trust..?

Ideas with numerous backing. Like the Fed ousting our lives and making grand profit for example. Stuff that isn't entirely based on speculation.
