Bitani told The Associated Press that 90 fighters were killed and said more than 40 houses had been destroyed. There was no way to independently confirm the death toll, as the fighting was taking place in a remote, mountainous area that is off-limits to journalists.
The clash comes one week after a U.S. missile strike in South Waziristan reportedly killed Mehsud. The U.S. and Pakistani officials say they are almost certain last Wednesday's strike killed the Taliban leader, but several Taliban fighters have disputed that, insisting Mehsud is alive.

Yahoo news

Looks like the fight against the terrorists rages on.

Conflicting notes on from 70-90 terrorists killed.

If they are terrorists, who are they terrorizing?

Actually I would prefer to call them insurgents or something more fitting like that.

I mean, we are going into someone else's country and killing lots of them after all.

How are they terrorists exactly?

So if China invades Mexico, any a random Mexican gets a gun and fights back, he is a terrorist? Or is he actually an "insurgent"?

That is a fair enough question.

They are terrorizing the people in those villages......

Raping and killing women who don't wear a blanket from head to toe.

Destroying schools, especially those that teach women.

(terrorists don't want educated people as they challenge the terrorists murdering ways)

Use the search function for TAS, you will see many posts about what the terrorists have done in that area...
