In a fashion which suggests coordination across many different states the leaders of militant organizations are being captured and/or killed at unprecendented speed.

If this death is confirmed that brings up to three the number of militant leaders killed since last week, along with Pakistani Mehsud and the Nigerian Taliban, and the arrest of the self appointed new leader of the Tamil Tigers, Pathmanathan.

At this rate its almost reasonable to expect the complete destruction of all militant organizations on the planet in less than a year.

There are also reports that he's been captured.
