Will Denver, Colorado Be the Nations 'New' Capital?

Any "prophet" or "psychic" would say this, because Denver is an obvious fall back point. The Airforce Academy is there, it is within defensive distance of Nelis, Area 51, etc. Our nuclear arsenal is mainly held in Denver, the mountains make an ground force impossible. It's simply a military strong hold...nothing to really see here, just common sense.

a better question to ask would be how far the fallout would travel, would it reach say NY or NJ. I realize it also depends on the size of the nuke in question, but assuming its a medium to small sized nuke...how far would its fallout reach.

Its a combination of google maps, and some _javascript. You can choose between thermal damage, fallout, the type of nuke, ect.

Time to refresh this thread. The predictions that a nuke would destroy the US capital on October 11, 2009 was obviously wrong but there is a chance, someone got the numbers mixed up.
I say keep alert now for November 9, 2010, and if that day fails, the next date to look out for would be Sept 10, 2011.
