The prospect of an anti-Dobbs ad running during Dobbs' own show had created quite a lot of buzz in the blogosphere. But now a source at Media Matters says that cable providers have refused to let it run on CNN -- for all but a portion of the New York viewing audience.

According to the Media Matters official, five of the six cable providers contracted for the project have informed the group that they are declining to put the spot on CNN. All of them will air the ad on Fox News and MSNBC.

In New York City, the cable provider ViaMedia will air the ad, though the company is a relatively small player in the city. Time Warner will air the Media Matters spot in New York, both on MSNBC and Fox News but not on CNN.

Although I am not a viewer of any of the MSM Networks I was very happy to read and hear that CNN is not willing to step on the Constitution and the 1st Amendment. Lou Dobbs has the right to discuss topics that might be favorable by some viewers, if you don't like what you are hearing or watchng then change the channel or turn off the stupid tube completely as it does you know good anyways.

The Dems and Obababots are going to have to get used to unfavorable topics of their elected officials, the Republicans are getting their A**es kicked deservedly as they are both so responsible for the distruction off our country and the MSM should be reporting on everything that questions facts instead of reporting 30 seconds of a factual topic and then spending 15 minutes giving their opinions based on fiction leaving the public confussed to the truth. This is the correct move!
