developed or tested nearly every significant airborne weapon system in the past five decades.
Officially Recognized Facilities and Activities
China lake is home to a navy-operated Radar Cross-Section facility, among other things. The purpose of these facilities is to test the reflection of
radar waves on aircraft or airborne weapons to evaluate their "stealth" qualities.
