My Flags level is not changing...?

Hey folks. I have ignored this for a bit, but now I am just curious. I don't have any flags showing on my profile. I *have* been flagging, generally on threads I actually find of good quality or good story, and have been receiving some flags on my posts. Any ideas as to why my flags aren't showing up on my profile?

It's how many flags people put on the threads that you make. I think anyway.

So make an interesting thread that people think is important any you will grow your blue flag line.

If you're talking about the Recently Flagged list, mine has disappeared as well. I think that's one of the things that disappeared for everyone during the contribution level changes.

Yep .. looks like you should have a few. Must be a glitch in the system.
I'm sure you've brought that to their attention.

I'd like to see the actual flag number displayed instead of the colored 'flag contribution' . That'd be more clear.

But what do I know?

Thanks for the answers, folks. In my case the flag thing on my profile is gone AND my flag contribution level is just not changing. I should have at least enough to get *some* color on it... Maybe half of the "F"??

Oh, well, yeah, prolly just a glitch. Not a big thing, just curious.

The flag count tops out at 1,750 flags, after that there is no more 'growth' of the color or bar. You can see the actual count on the extended profile but if you don't feel like doing that I guess you could just 'guesstimate' the number by the level of color, anything filled into the last word is definitely 1350, that is what it takes to fill the "L" in "Level".

I counted 20 flags in your profile, the "F" does not start until you hit 50 flags. But I thought your flags would still show up in the "Flags:" area in your extended profile though, might be a code issue because people with 4 flags have it showing in their profile .

So for the record, then, this is Flags that people have given you? Or flags you have given others? I thought for sure I have given other people more flags than that.. *shrug*

Krog will find it. I just remember it's directly proportional to the number of flags you've been given, and it starts when you hit 50. Don't know what the max is.

you have 8 flags, i dont think this is enough to change the colour level.

for someone from 2005, you probably should have made more threads.

it is only flags that have been given to you. to get points for flagging people doesnt make any sense.

also the stars you get do not add to your points level.

Don't think he said anything about flags gaining points, nor stars. No one did actually.

no bad mood, just thought there was not a lot of threads made. maybe its just me.

on my old account i was here for like 5 months and made about 25 threads.
looking back it may have been a bit much..

i said about the stars because i used to think that they gave points.

I have lots of flags from my posts yet they are not appearing on my profile!

It appears some accounts are indeed broken. Weird.

It used to be points, now it's flags and neither make any difference to me. On the old system, I used points to get into RATS. Flags are just pretty coloring.
