the FDA announced that Michael Taylor, a former Monsanto executive, had joined the agency as “senior advisor to the commissioner.” If the title is vague, the portfolio is substantial—a kind of food czar of the Food and Drug Administration:

Michael Taylor worked as Monsanto’s former vice president for public policy, and how has Mosanto's last two of of public policy go?

This is just a result of FDA and corporate relationships.

I mean, all our food is now Monsanto, and who else would better know how to be a food czar than a Monsanto executive.

Thats just how their corrupt system works. I mean why not appoint a drug czar that was a former executive at GlaxoSmithKline or Pfizer?

I disagree with it all, but that is how it works.

I'm so glad mr. and mrs obama don't have to eat this anymore -
after all they have that beautiful organic Whitehouse garden -
How wonderful for them.
no genetically modified foods there... no Monsanto there

I could have sworn that liberals are into the organic food thing and that Monsanto is evil.

Where is the outrage that their chosen is really putting what they hate the most into a position of power?
