Forefathers all psychics? Nah, just intelligent. Timeless quotes that define our age.

Recently I came across some quotes from forefathers that really spoke of our day and age, so I looked a little deeper - only to find, that practically all of them spoke of our issues and what would happen if we let the government get to where it is now.

To begin,

After 911, everyone was so eager to give up their freedom to just have a bit of security. As if it were possible for a bunch of barbarians in caves to launch an invasion. Still we see people ignorant enough to continue to support the sacrifice of liberty for more spying, and police state infrastructure, all to protect themselves from terrorists that do not exist as a threat to their life.

When reading some of the quotes, it almost seems as if they knew. But they had no idea the state of the Union in 2009. They only knew what would happen if corruption ran rampant, and the constitution was trampled upon. They told of what would happen if advice were not taken, and boundaries were not set upon the government.

Yet here we are, 233 years since independence day and we've forgotten everything that our forefathers built for us, and the wisdom they left with us. If every single member of congress, or even our president were to hold fast to the beliefs and integrity of our forefathers. Then perhaps our children may not grow up behind the bars of a police state, and maybe we would not have to spend our life attempting to uncover the lies, manipulation and false flag deception that they bombard us with.

nice. One of my favorites is from John Quincy Adams in regards to U.S. foreign affairs.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

We are supposed to be setting a shining example people... not forcing our 'democracy' down other nations' throats.

you cannot safeguard freedom by relinquishing freedom, you cannot have an equal people where wealth, and the power it gives, resides in the hands of a few. democracy is mob rule, by definition, this is why justice (the constitution) should not be allowed to fall into the power of democracy. where the military cannot be overcome by the people, the corruptible people in power cannot be threatened by the people they rule and will rule by threat where all else fails.

the shame in the whole thing is that the education provided by the state these men founded does not turn out students well read enough to know these truths and even expand upon them.

the thing that amazes me is that these men are still seen as the ultimate word in freedom rather than the simplistic foundation on which freedom has been built.

I'll never get it, really. If it were possible to create an enemies list based on the proclivity of 'democracy' alone, it'd be a full time job. Seemingly intelligent persons flash the term about like it's a good thing. I do understand why zionists on tv use it. Really, must one take over the world just to give it back, devoid of the concept? It would be like oprahland, with a show of hands at the end of each show determining what rights 51% of the sheep wish to have demolished. Democracy is a dirty, dirty word, one should be ashamed of being a proponent of.

Wrong-o mary lou. The way we live isn't up for grabs, nor should it be. If it were, then television and propaganda win. 3% of the demographic making decions for the rest of us. Is that what you call 'democracy'? (mods: feel free to edit my use of the foul term)

Keep searching. The simple life is best, and you'll note that it's becoming quite illegal, thanks to 'democracy'. which seems to be boiling with flames of corporatism under it, sanctioned by lobbies, forged in to law.

I'll make it easy for you: the reason why our 'president' keeps bandying about the sound byte 'rule of law' is because these laws are geared to smash freedom and simplicity. I promise you that extreme measures have been drafted to ensure no one will be drinking clean water anymore. halliburton's seen to that. The movie erin brockavich was dropped on us to make us all fearful of the chemicals, and now they are here, there, everywhere. Check out natural gas fracking and hexavalant chromium. The water tables are being shattered right beneath our feet, as we sleep.

What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?

Most bad government has grown out of too much government.
