This can be seen most clearly with the haughty tone the US adopts towards its supposed minions the world over, but lots of other countries do it to...China is very fond of taking on a rather churlish "lecturer's tone" when adressing anyone and everything. France does too.

If we could iliminate this kind of idwological squabbling and just go about the business of "doing what we need to do," the chips would all fall into placement more easily if you ask me.
