Although the characters are fictional, the events that inspired this story are true. The government really slipped the public drugs and used hookers to do it. It's amazing that this story is not at the forefront of public awareness. The only major media attention to this incredible deception was a Time article in the 1970's.

Good find! I have always been interested in MK Ultra and the CIA's research in mind altering drugs like '___' and others on unsuspecting subjects. It is just as horrendous as the Tuskegee experiments were they gave African American men syphilis. This outrage should have been looked into further and have better documentation than it has over the years.

However, I'm beginning to think they want to keep things like this in the dark and keep the citizenry ignorant to large-scale abuses of power. Some have speculated that Sirhan Sirhan Robert Kennedy's assassin was a MK Ultra test subject. Any way, good post!!
