In the UK, most skinheads are not racists.

Many of my friends are skinheads and we are not racists. Infact, several of my friends play in a punk band which is anti-nazi, and anti racism.

No, it is not illegal to be a skinhead. I regularly visit Germany without problem and I am often a 'skinhead' I shave my head every few months, and it's always very short.

It is, however, illegal to have any natzi symbolism on your clothing in Germany.

There are gangs of these bastards on the trains, I've seen them harrass whole groups of people, and pick on blacks and people who don't look how they like.

It is a real problem for the Germans.

Theres some differance between skinhead and Nazi. I knew skinheads but they were punk, anti-comformisits, who happend to hate Jews. But anyway lets stay on topic.

I dont know about skinheads. It's not my style of music. I'm more techno, so there are people with head shaved in raves party but they are not skinheads. There was a group in Paris called redskins (communist skins, they was also know as the skinhead hunting skinheads...)

Ah, here we just call anyone with a shaved head a 'skinhead'. I didn't know there was a skinhead style of music!

All I know skinhead music was more heavy punk kinda stuff. I never listend to it just my guess from the guys I knew, and they were very crazy.
