Actually the asian markets ended up that day and hang seng was up 800 pts + the next day..

Makes me think it was a total non issue

Yeah, its called "SELL IN MAY, AND GO AWAY"

Or thats the old jingle or whatever that you are seeing represented on the charts.. something to do with the business cycle i suppose.. plus funds investing the money for the year etc..
