I feel the same.

Now the trick is, picking a "tribe". Being a multiracial American with several different classifications in each race is a little tricky (Am I Choctaw? Am I Muskogee? Am I Irish? Welsh? Finnish?) and that's not even considering my upbringing in a southern black culture and then my adoption into an Aluutic family..

Wow! Yep... I'm also a large mix, but a mix of norther Europeans. The biggest difference in me is that between the Celt and the Viking.


My wife however is the descendant of African American slaves as well as Irish and Cherokee peoples.

I think ultimately you have to know yourself, and your family to better understand what traits are dominant in you, and learn the history of all of these, in order to better understand yourself and your inclinations.

Not that you *have* to, but in the case of choosing, It might be all of the above for you, or it might be a little of each.
