My contest entry for the UFO / space music.

I made this a while ago and tweaked it some more today when I heard about this contest.

Made with cubase LE, my M-AUDIO keyboard controller, and a bunch of free VST instruments.

I'll even give you the instrument name and the presets:

VST : Cygnus

SFX FlyByBasser TC
PAD Cygnus TC
ATMO AlgoVari TC

there may have been one more preset in there of Cygnus as well as maybe one from Crystal but not sure.

I also added a loop of the theta frequency, (repeating thuds essentially meant to stimulate your brain into theta mode.. so maybe you'll go into a trance and get visuals? lol)

As well I did some heavy tweaking to some other random sound files... and to top it up I converted the song's pitch from 440 hz tuning to the more "golden ratio'd" 432 hz.. there's an ATS thread about that one if you're interested.

This gives my head a nice warm buzz.. lol..

Anyways, enjoy.

Hi CavemanDD

I felt like I was floating.. out of space. The stars were passing me by and Silver UFOs dotted the Horizon.

Pressing repeat Now.

That is really indescribably meditating.
I had no choice but to close my eyes and let it drift me away.
Feels like my soul I just got a spiritual massage.

Glad you liked it and felt you got something out of it. I was really thinking about harmony and stuff on a spiritual level when I made it. Ever since I made a chakra tone .mp3, I realized the powerful effects of sounds and I try to carry that thought into every sound-based thing I make now.

Thanks again.

Yeah, this is great!

The sounds have a very harmonious effect that is both relaxing and intriguing (if that's the right description).
