Some pretty amazing new species were classified:

The world's smallest snake:

And the world's longest insect:

These little seahorses average only 1/2 inch in size:

The "ghost slug", from Wales:

Other new species include a naturally-decaffeinated variety of coffee, a bacterium that lives in hairspray, and a self-destructing plant. Amazing how many "new" species there still are to discover!

Cool thread
Is it just me? Did anyone else hear the theme to The Munsters when they looked at the seahorses image?

Hi,

Well i have seahorses in my study and i can assure you that when working late at night and playing a particular sound they tend to be attracted and seem to be glued to the tanks window as if they were watching me. Sure it sounds odd but hey were still trying to understand the human species.

I often listen to this link below but as you can read due to migrating season they have uploaded recordings, however when the migrating season is over and they return you will hear the live feed via hydrophones.
