You all would have to see this in context of the rest of the day. Earlier auto execs and experts were on CNBC talking positively about the automotive sector. And he's basically saying that the auto people are the same idiots that got the industry where it is, so what they now is ridiculous, and why would anyone believe anything they say. Same goes for banks. Macke is usually very well spoken, he's just at the end of his rope with the BS. As I always say.... this is all Financial Pornography.

I agree his syntax was horrible, but I think he was being honest about not knowing about the market.

Bank of America is pretty junky and that people would buy new offerings of the stock to the tune of 13 Billion defies logic. Let's follow this, the stress tests show that BOA is underfunded to the tune of 34 BILLION and therefore more risky, yet people snatch up a 13 Billion new offering from BOA. Bizzaro would feel welcome in such a place where that makes sense to anyone. Try to logically tell me that that makes any sense. They still have lots of stuff that has to be written off or down.

I don't know what think... He reminded me of someone that was talking in their sleep. Have you ever had someone look straight at you while sleep talking? It was like he was really trying to get the listener to understand something but he was in a dream like state and couldn't communicate it properly.

Please make a copy of this video before it gets removed. I think we'll be seeing a lot more weird behavior of this sort before this is over.

Great find, a star and flag for you.

Lol Funny as like him to deal with the situation unravelling, and being presented as

Bottoming Out

growth expected next year

Etc You either have to Laugh, Cry, or go and have a Nervous Breakdown, or self medicate? lol.

Many times in the past, like 4-5 yrs ago and esp 3 yrs ago I was labelled as

Wide eyed and rambling

When trying to explain to others what would, and is happening now around us, I think many on ATS when we find a truth, which shows most of everything else the world lives by to be a Lie, that is ignored and wrapped up in BS and spin get emotional.

He had his Cathartis today me thinks, and it has dawned on him how pervasive, twisted and manipulated it goes.

When you find yourself speaking a OBVIOUS truth in the face of widespread ridicule and lies it can have that effect on you.

So either this happened, or maybe, just maybe he has the signs that he was unable to quite deal with it, and I think he is going into a nervous breakdown or manic episode lol.

Ther is also the very highly recognisable traits of being on maybe not a Truth march, but enjoying some Peruvian Marching Powder, and got his timing all wrong lol.

He seemed if you watch it a couple of times particularly Pissed at Bank of America, and who could blame him, how is it still there?

Oyh yes of course the US govt sold itself to foreign investors, printed some more bits of paper, and endebted the next 3 or 4 generations to about an extra 3-4 hours of work a week to bail out the boys on the hills club friends.

Interesting thing about madness if you show a Schizophrenic a negative of a face in a 3d model from the inside, they recognise it as being not real, but "normal" people create the illusion that the face is looking at them!

Who is Mad, and who is Sane?

If you are classed as Mad in society you see the REAL and TRUTHFULL in the below, if you are classed as Normal we make up an lie in our minds! It is explained well by a Psychiatrist and is being used as new test for Schizophrenia in clinical practise

So as proven above Schizophrenic people do not Hallucinate in this situation WE DO!! or those who do not have the condition and are labelled as Nomral and sane!

This guy has just realised and seen on that day for the first time that in fact the whole sytem is an illusion, does not make sense and is like the hollow face above, it appears very different to the reality he has glimpsed.

Now similarly,

We the conspiracy or truth seekers, ATS'ers were called crazies for many years, and all those conspiracy "theories" have been proven to be "facts" esp in regard to the banking, money, debt, fiat money situation.

Good on him the most honest words, if very difficult to follow ever spoken on CNBC

Kind Regards,

Elf

First and foremost. He is an entertainer.
He does not report the news, his job is to create it and he did his job well.

To the people who think he is crazy or in a trance. If you watch the video, you will notice him disclaim several times that his dialogue was in jest. He was in fact, portraying the entire financial system as "crazy." Why not punctuate it by sounding crazy as well?

It also really helps with the network ratings. .

Poor guy.

I don't usually watch CNBC or the talk shows as I get tired of listening to everyone telling how great things are and how bad things are, so I can't say I'm familiar with him at all, but geeeeeezzzzz. Poor guy.

This guy is internally flipped and doing his best to keep it together. What is crazy? He's definitely on the brink of a major emotional breakdown, but I don't think this guy is insane. I've been saying it for a couple years now, I think it insane to not be a little crazy in todays world.

He mentioned thinking he knew the economic world 8 months ago. He's had a crash course in reality recently, and hasn't been able to speak his mind. Can you imagine what it must be like, knowing that your surrounded by idiots and psychopaths? Knowing that none of what anyone says makes any sense, and yet he's just supposed to play along?

It seems he had enough. Dude has a conscience, and it finally beat him into taking a stand. It's a shame that he couldn't articulate what he was saying a little clearer, but his point came across loud and clear to me.

THE WORLD IS CURRENTLY BEING ENGINEERED INTO INSANITY AND OBLIVION!!

Who in their right mind wouldn't be a little emotionally instable at the dawn of this realization?

He's not insane, we're watching a small part of a bigger show and missing about 90% of the preceding content.

It's like walking in during the punch line, missing the joke and judging how funny the comedian is.

Bravo! Once again I have found someone who can put into words all of the thoughts and feelings I struggle to comprehend but know to be true.

I am by no means an educated man, and I seem to have trouble recalling and remembering information, but thanks to your educated input MischeviousElf I am able to understand better what I believe to be the truth.

what a nut case that guy is. is he a normal commentator for them? wow - I bet they will never have him on again, he made no sense at all.

That guy is just really really really weird. There is nothing wrong with being different, I actually embrace it, however , he is not different he is just weird.

He seems to not even know what he himself is talking about. He seems to think from what I saw that He knows something and nobody is getting what he is saying, but he is talking in fragment sentences and rambling about things that are not related within words of each other.

It's like he is jumping topics and ideas not from paragraph to paragraph , or even sentence to sentence , but word to word.

It's like 2 words are for one idea and the next 3 are for a different topic, and the next 2 are for something else un related.

To say it more clearly..........Weird people think he's weird.

I'll admit that watching the video I laughed at just how mad he came off, but reading the transcript posted in this thread it all kinda makes sense. My guess is he had a good point to make, almost made it, but the stress of looking behind the curtain is getting to him, which brings me to:

Yeah, it's the psychopathocracy. Anyone who realizes just how big a role ponerology, ie the study of the social implications of psychopaths running (almost) everything has in defining a cohesive and plausible world view, goes a little off the deep end.

I still have a hard time accepting that we are lead by lunatics, but the lunacy is there, all over the evening news.

Your post sums up the sentiment of the people who are supporting him in this thread. "Only human."

But if he is a professional (professional what? not sure) then he should be able to express his different or altered opinion in at least a somewhat coherent manner. He could hardly finish a thought. Not very professional. I was also wondering what drugs he was on.

From John Galt:

Source

Dear Mr. Macke, I, on behalf of many of us who watch Bubblevision sometimes with frustration, other times wishing someone would take a 5 iron and divot Dennis Kneale’s face, wish to thank you for your rant on CNBC Reports on the night of May 19, 2009. You have made my year thus far with regards to financial television reporting. Please let Rick Santelli know he will have to come up with one hell of a rant to top that one. Sincerely, John Galt With that out of the way, it is time to board the bus in Crazytown and discuss today’s markets. The closing numbers do not mean crappola. Seriously. The Dow finished down 50 something points. Who cares. The Russell 2000 finished down 3 and change. So what.

There was purpose in Macke's rant....some of you hit it on the head earlier...most of us missed the lead up to his performance, including me..

Did Macke go wacky? This is so funny I almost tinkled in my pants. And this guy wonders why people are confused when he speaks? Beh, I admit confusion is good; it means you're learning. heh.

This is what happens when you have lied and talked BS for so long that you can't remember what is a lie and what is truth. Before we are anything we are human and when you try to balance the ball of truth and lies for so long, your mind says "I quit" and will abandon you.Kind of like when your wife walks in on you and another woman.

I belive Nancy Palosi is going the same way,the only differance is Palosi will get away with it and this guy will probably melt down.Good to see it start happening,I think we will see more of it or maybe certian people in the limelight just not around anymore, they will just hand them a rubber ducky and put in a padded cell.

I am so sorry.
