Bid to dissolve Parliament amid row

uk.news.yahoo.com

Lord Naseby, who was deputy speaker from 1992-97, said Sir Christopher Kelly's review of the allowance system should be completed urgently.

He said: "I think the Prime Minister has to stop thinking he can just make policy on the hoof.

"I think Sir Christopher Kelly has to undertake this review urgently, I don't see why it should have to take that long.

"I think frankly, if this runs and runs, then Parliament should be dissolved, I think they have to start again."

The row over MP corruption - brought about by a "leak" exposing over the top expenses is set to run and run
The controlled media will see to that!
There is however an agenda behind this....
Since the signing of the Lisbon Treaty - it is only a matter of time before Parliament is dissolved - all laws will be made and passed by the EU

This issue seems to be giving them one excuse to get rid of them sooner rather than later.

I would predict that we will be hearing of a lot more about MP sleaze in the next few months

It is an absolutely disgusting situation at the moment!

How dare they claim for the likes of a bath plug,a kit kat etc.

And if they have to travel to London to do their jobs, then they should be housed in a similar style to the student's halls of residence, where they would be obliged to share a kitchen and bathroom, and have one room for living in!

What a set of thieving ba**ards!!!

I agree 100% - but this kind of thing has been going on for years...my point is why is it all being brought to light now!

It is because they want public revulsion it gives them an excuse to dissolve our parliament and allow in a bigger set of crooks in - controlling every aspect of our society - leaving even the image of democracy as a distant memory

The insidious creeps behind this ridiculously out-of-proportion MP expenses scandal will have no qualms regarding the dissolution of Parliament; they'll be given cushy high-paid positions in the new Euro administration under the Lisbon Treaty.

This whole 'scandal' is laughable. These 'extravagances' cost the taxpayer nothing. UK MPs aren't exactly paid a fortune given the gravity of their post. I doubt most of the poor bastards could afford a round of drinks at a political meet-and-greet in a country like the USA. MPs might take the system for a bit of a ride, but who cares? They're running the country in our interests, right? ...

Not in my opinion... The real issue for me is that they are NOT acting in the interests of the British people. THIS is the breach of trust they have committed, not some flimsy slip of the pen claiming for porn on expenses. Parliament should certainly be dissolved, but not for these reasons. If it IS dissolved for these reasons, it could prove very dangerous for the authority and sovreignty of Westminster and Great Britain.

The Parliamentary system isn't perfect, but at least we have a say in it. NO to EU membership and the Lisbon Treaty.

Save us UKIP!!! :O ... ... ...
