i agree wholeheartedley, for a long time i too have not trusted in organized religion. i see it as just another construct to impliment control.

To the OP, i do believe you are onto something. This is one of the reasons why i joined ATS. There are just too many discrepancies in the religion and the bible...along with left out texts and certainly the way modern christians learn from the king james bible...but hold up...oh yeah! he was excommunicated for heresy when he re wrote it!

Genesis has parallels to the Enuma Elish. Monotheism popped up out of nowhere in Egypt around the same time as exodus.

As for 2012 playing a part, we will just have to wait and see.

right now what i'm trying to figure out is whether or not the Talmud of Jmmanuel holds any credibility...if so, it certainly puts a lot of things into context.
