A newb question

What do i type in the avatar text box for it to show a picture. Tell all steps in placing an avatar. I'm new to this avatar thing.

If you check the tabs under the banner you will see one marked "tutorial." That will answer all of your questions.

First off websurfer, welcome to ATS.
I am going to provide a thread that will help you with this. Just read it and follow what it initially says to do.

Or simply look to the top of the screen and just below the big banner you will see a list looking like this:
complain buddies members search faq tutorial and so on.....click on tutorial and look for avatar tutorial.

Your post just came up as I was posting my greeting.

Ok...firstly, if you need to resize your avatar, it's a simple matter if you have PSP or some other equivelent graphics program. If you do, but aren't sure what to do, just post so, and we'll go from there.

Pisky just told me that you can use the BB code to do it, too.

On te top find a thing labled tutorial. It wil tell you.
