Link shows a video clearly depicting police using overhead baton strikes hitting people on the torso/head.
Can someone clarify that this isn't sanctioned under UK law and under no circumstances except when reacting to an immediate threat to life and limb
is an officer permitted to strike someone with a baton about their head?
If you are from the UK and find this footage disturbing please do complain to the IPCC. Your complaint will show support for outlawing the kind of
tactics used at the G20 protests.
