Federal court halts deportation of Demjanjuk

CINCINNATI – A federal appeals court has granted a stay of deportation to Germany for accused Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk. The court made the ruling shortly after the frail 89-year-old was removed from his suburban Cleveland home by six immigration officers using a wheelchair.

Did the Germans lost their mind? If Demjanjuk survived the wrath of Israeli "justice," how could the prosecution hope for any success, unless it puts into effect judicial practices that were in effect in Germany at the end of WWII?

Does someone in Germany want to enhance his career by dragging 89-year-old dude before the court?
