So yea,I was wondering if there are generally less members online during these what I call intermediate holidays like Good Friday and Easter(or any holiday for that matter).

If so, what would your theory be?

More family presence, and therefore shame at being caught behind a keyboard, surfing fringe and conspiracy sites, most of which have startling avatars?

More family presence, and therefore a stronger desire to do things together, rather than sit behind a keyboard?

I for one, spend almost exactly the same amount of time here regardless of the human designation placed upon the date.

If you go to the top of the page there is a "stats" link.

Perhaps the answer you seek can be found there.

Well, I have never seen any noticable decrease in use around the holidays, but I havent really thought about it either.

I am looking at the stats page. It does not show exact dates but it does show the number of users month by month, There doesnt seem to be any real decrease worth mentioning, however, over the years of general use there seems to be a general increase in activity.

Hopefully this helps a bit, I know it doesnt provide an EXACT answer to your question but I think it may give a basic idea.

Basically, without having exact details I would say that there does not seem to be any major increase or decrease around holidays. Although, the over all activity has clearly increased over the years.

WOW, cool S. Dog, I never knew those were there.

Huge difference in quantity of visits from the beginning of 2008 to the end of 2008. Seems a lot more people got smart towards the end of the year and wanted to find out more about what was going on.... and I include myself in that batch.

Thanks for the info on finding the info!!

Spring break and a holiday weekend. I just drove from LA to Vegas and the roads were jammed all the way... Nice to see people getting out and stimulating the casino economy in Nevada.

Maybe some of them were ATS'ers?
