i dont think a planet collided with the Earth to form our Moon. The moon is too perfectly sized. During an eclispe, it blocks out all the light. It appears the same size of the sun. The chances of something just happening that perfectly is astronomicle. I could be wrong tho...

this is quite interesting. perhaps it is a planet that they havn't found yet that has been in the system forever but just not known? i doubt it but it's possible yeah?

That's only because of what time it is. Millions or billions of years ago, it blocked out far more than the sun, and in the far future, it will not be able to block out the sun.

Kind of a neat coincidence, but it's not like it's been that way forever.

Hehe, I think that would give Sitchin abit more credibilty as it would prove is theories to be right !

But, I dont think it would create rhe moon as it is, firstly a lot older then earth, and as you people point out, to perfect to be a random incident.
