I love the white one, where the designer has been so eager to import jet fighter styling cues he's actually turned the rear taillight fairings into jet engines!

And please post more pix, if you have any good ones.

White one was a 1956 (my birth year!) Concept car by GM: Firebird.

Thank you very kindly indeed. Yes, I love past futures, if you catch my drift.

I'm a lover of science fiction, and it has always intrigued me how, since the form began, writers and artists have striven to envision the future as being different from their present, but in hindsight their visions have always been powerfully influenced by aesthetic, social, political etc. cues from their own eras.

As somebody once said, 'the future ain't what it used to be.'
