Seriously, would a ONE World Government be THAT bad?

I would like some feedback on this idea. The world seems to be going down the crapper. It's overpopulated, at war, running out of resources and overpolluted. I mean, seriously, would a NWO one world government really be so terrible?

I instinctively say YES, but on reflection I'm not so sure.

OK, so we may lose the vote, some of our rights as sovereign nations, but would world peace and a manageable population make it worth it?

I'm really not sure, I feel that it isn't so black and white. If there was a One World Government it would probably come with strings. I could see double standard for the Developed and Developing nations. Would they really try and cull %80 of the population, if you were one of the lucky %20 would it even matter?

Really, would it be so bad?

Hm, I think you get me wrong, I don't know either way, if you had asked me a month ago I would have said I would fight a NWO government with my bare hands. The point is the world is really f£$%&d, would it be that bad? Some order out of all the chaos? It was a question, not a statement.

I don't mean to be negative and condescending but your post reeks of ignorance. Why do you think the world is the way it is? It's because of the people who are forcefully bringing about this world order. It's blatantly obvious to anyone who subscribes to morality, truth & honesty. These people have no morals, no honor or integrity. They are nothing more than liars, deceivers and bottom feeders whose only goal in life is drag eveyone else to the same level. They will fail. Every single 'problem' you listed, that you suggest a NWO the (solution) will fix, was created by the solution.

So how do you figure that any of those problems will be fixed when the same people have absolute and total control over every aspect of life as we know it on earth.

And by people like you, I meant people who aren't truly interested in learning about the situation, but would rather clog the forum with inane questions. You feel helpless and unheard with a government that is your current size, imagine how "not in the real world" a global government would be. Plus at the moment you live in a (sort of) democracy / republic, a world government may go for a more socialist or tyrannical view. I say smaller community based governance with minimal country wide government interference, not an even larger, more uncontrollable government.

But I will play your game…what’s so bad about a NWO? Assuming you were one of those that survived:

You would be a slave – work with no pay
You would not be aloud to breed
You would not be allowed to travel
You would not be allowed to eat what you want to eat
You would not be allowed to voice your opinion
You would not be able to access ATS!!
You would not be able to own a gun
You would not be able to worship your own god

The list goes on and on. If you think that is an ok way to live, come around to my place and do all my house and yard chores for nothing!

Having just one of anything is a bad idea, it doesn't leave you any options. I don't always like to go along with the crowd, I appreciate being able to go it alone when I choose. As the old saying goes, "With power goes corruption, with absolute power, absolute corruption. A single world government would be an insurmountable foe.

I don't know what world you live in, but picking up the newspaper today paints a pretty drab picture.

C'mon...where has it ever been said that any of this would happen, why does OWG mean any of that? But I'd agree with the gun part, simply so that the OWG could not be overthrown.

Think about how this is being done here.

We have an invisible enemy and we have a financial crisis as it is being termed. This is all being used to join us all into a global government.

Ok firstly I'm sorry for that, was a little sour. But you have to admit, that ATS is not just about being right, it's about provoking reflection and debate. Well I think it is.

You have to know I've done all the research, my eyes are open, but nothing but good can come from posing hard questions.

None of us knows for sure what would happen if there was a OWG, who knows, world peace, food for all, I don't know...free donuts?

My life was taken away from me at 17, and i have not been able to live it since. Every moment of my life was perved into. I had no control on any aspect of my life, and my life is an example of what these people will do to all of you one day.

Mind control, is a horrendous thing, and my life has proved it. Your life and your mind should be your own, and belong to no one else, but heck these people are just pure evil.

My life has proved what the nwo will be like, if you choose not to accept that thats your problem.
