Nice! I am a weapons-based martial artist and a collector of swords.

I have 2 katanas. One great one crummy. I have a functional sabre, Chinese long sword, and a period Roman piece. Bunch of really cool fantasy swords but they can't be used :p

First time I foudn this thread- I'll participate!
To be as honest as possible, I'll put up the most recent pic (though I could cheat and choose ones from my earlier years..)

We'll have to chat about horses sometime. You ride in a western saddle, in France? I always assumed everyone in Europe rode English for some reason. Great pics!

You do know how to talk to the ladies! (thank you).

I do ride western, and get into cowhorse discplines, and have done barrel racing, reining, cutting, team penning,- though not competatively, This mare is very versatile- half Quarterhorse, half Barb, she adapts to both styles beautifully, and is the local "guide" for young and green horses out on trails.

It is more common in France to ride "english" ! But I am originally from California, so kept some of my culture with me. I would love to hear about your horses!!

Ahh, that makes sense.

I have to find another picture of our Bay, "Fancy" (she's on the left here, day she first met Kay-tee)



A few pages back, are some pics of the other animals, etc. (cats, dogs, birds, bunnies) as well as us. We live on a small ranch and do some boarding and have a small Tack Shop there.

We mostly just do pleasure riding. Fancy and Laredo are trained for Barrel Racing and Roping though. We can easily put anyone on Laredo or Kay-tee, but Fancy is too much horse for anybody other than experienced riders. We have two other horses being boarded here presently, and another that will arrive shortly. I just wish we had more time to ride.

No, this is not my only shirt. But it feels so comfortable to wear it and I do need to get new shirts. This was my union T-shirt.
