abcnews.go.com...

I know that a thread was posted here about this before, but it hardly offered much information on it and I thought that maybe I could reopen it for discussion.
Several months ago, a strange illness struck several people at my school in southwestern Virginia, the symptoms of which involved twitching uncontrollably, dizziness and headaches. Some people we all knew were faking, but there were others that were genuinely sick. I know a girl that twitched up until just a couple of months ago, and not one doctor that she went to could tell her what was going on, even though she was all over the place talking to all different kinds of doctors. There were people complaining of weakness and dizziness, myself included.
There were rumors that it was carbon dioxide coming from the photography classroom, specifically the dark room. I watched people test for that and a whole bunch of other things around the photography room, including mold and lead paint. They tested the water, too, and after that I never saw anybody else come in to test anything. Nobody said much about it after that, suddenly everybody stopped twitching except the girl I mentioned earlier in my post. Now nobody talks about it. Apparently, the state claimed that it was due to stress and then anxiety at catching the twitching disease, but I dont really believe that.

So I was just wondering if I could get some thoughts on what could have been causing it..

Edit: Neglected to add previously: Not only did the school board refuse to close the school, they also sent some letter home about how they didnt want to list the symptoms to 'protect the students'

Strangely I just heard an add on the radio about twitching and how to stop it with some herbal thing.
My thoughts are that this is an experiment with a new neurotoxin.

Any other weird things around there?

Any bioweapons labs?( Duh)

I don't know... Ive only lived here for three years, actually, so all I really know of is a military base in Norfolk, Virginia (And of course, the Pentagon), which is a ways from where I am. I searched Military facilities in Virginia after you asked, though, and got a list of all the facilities. There was something about a project (Headquartered in Virginia) in whith the US is helping Russia to build a facility in which to store materials from dismantled nuclear weapons. Obviously it has nothing to do with the topic, but I thought I might mention it simply because it's interesting that more people dont know that.

Wow thanks for posting.

Well, I did a little search and this is what I found:

www.mothering.com...

That is a thread from mothering.com that talks about a possible relationship between the "twitching illness" and either flu vax or gardisil.....Are you female? One of the posters seemed to imply everyone with the "illness" was female. Any vaccinations in common? If that is the case, I'm sure (since apparently according to recent courtroom drama we've seen-vaccinations cause "no harm"-psht.) that they would not be able to correlate the two...

And then theres the nerve gas theory.

Also, besides twitching and shaking, what other symptoms were present?

Hold on.
The USA is importing nuclear waste from Russia and storing it near you?
Is that what you said?

No, I dont know if they actually have it there, and besides, it's pretty far away from me, so i doubt that it would affect us even if it was stored near us. I just found it interesting that not a whole lot of people knew that we were helping them build the facility at all.

Wouldn't it be horrible if at some point Gardasil turned out to be an death trigger, like some sort of dormant neurotoxin or cancer or virus that kills women after 10-15 years?

Someone's sick idea of population control?

Twitching, dizziness, headaches and foggy brain, as it is called, can also be from an under active Thyroid. Many people are undiagnosed and a simple blood test from your doctor can tell if your thyroid is malfunctioning.

Hope all are better now.

Unfortunately I only knew one of the girls that was affected. I havent heard anything about any males affected, but the female teacher actually wasn't, it turns out she actually has a seperate condition that still causes her to have seizures, which apparently just surfaced around the same time.
I also have absolutely no idea weather any of them were vaccinated for the flu or with Gardasil, and the only other symptoms /I/ ever experienced were headaches and dizziness. A couple girls reported a weird swaying motion rather than twitching, but I'm pretty sure they were faking.

According to the people I listen to gardasil is dangerous from the outset.

And yes it is likely to be population control.

Who knows more about twitching though?

The girl I know went to all kinds of doctors, and they couldn't find anything wrong with her at all. I dont know for sure if they tested her thyroid, but I think it's pretty likely. It wasn't just specialists that she went to at first.

I think that the thyroid explanation is probably the best bet, but I still dont really understand exactly how it would be triggered for several people, including one woman that didnt' have any connection to the school other than proximity, at the same time. Any thoughts?
