Are Craddock and Pandora in the chapel library?

Craddock & Pandora are in the room that belongs to Death. His area
where he resides over the comings-and-goings of those who pass away.

Lost my muse...she wanders in and out, now - BIAD may have seen
her wandering around in the shadows, I dunno....

That's odd... I've just glanced out of the window and BIAD has his little
kettle boiling on a makeshift fire outside his folly.
There are TWO cups!

Okay, next up for "my" crew -
Alaag and Gert have not gone far - she lured him back to the area of the chapel after the Ceremony. Ben is probably with Neno, Tibbs, etc.

So, he'll have to explain to them what happened with Cecilia, etc. Redbeard was last on board Cecilia; he's probably headed for the place where the Diamond was supposed to be...

Ugh, I'm befuddled this morning.

I think Wild is about to "ask" for some guidance from the Sisterhood - and perhaps Margo will give her some; but most likely it will be Wild's responsibility to find Gert, and somehow disarm her glamour, and release Alaag from her spell.

(Mostly typing out loud here...) Dag is pretty occupied; maybe she will sense "a disturbance in the Sisterhood" - and, wait...is that?!! --- The Splitter? What's HE doing here?

Quick question. About your Giant. Is Red Beard and your Giant Wild’s father - the same? Or two separate beings?

We know now Argus and Flint - obviously the brother Quiet - are very much alive from Adam's stories.

Their story - for the moment - will follow a rough sketch of Adam’s stories. Already we have Quiet (the disabled man in the bed yet to be names but of course it’s Quiet) - who’s had an encounter with a giant (like in Adam's stories) and left the giant hurt unto death - as he left Quiet.

There will - by all rights sticking to Adam’s stories - be a final confrontation between the two - where Quiet gets his head bit off by the giant who’s already hurt.

If the giant is Wild’s dad - and you’d like to take on that post - go for it. Just kill off only the giant and Quiet. Maybe make Flint a kind of hero? Who knows.

But - If you’ve plans for the Giant whether it is or not Wild’s father - let me know and I’ll try to figure out a way to finish up Adam’s stories with Quiet and the Giant in another way.

Hiya, yes, Redbeard is Wild's father and also is (my) Giant. He is a pirate; and is after the Diamond that they found in Bisley Deeps. Wild hates him; his method of choice for abuse is tickling people - until they give in (that's how he impregnated her mother) - or die laughing.

(I looked it up; it IS possible to be tickled to death! lol). ()

So, perhaps he is related to Adam's giants - a brother, or cousin? I'd wager they hate him, too -
and it might make a really nice tie-in for all of the giants involved here.

I'm rather lost in where the plot is right now, and it'd be great if we could get the threads of the story tied together somehow...
Dag is 'watching over' Wild, and Gert is supposed to be Wild's "servant" - because she (Gert) screwed up on Vandalia/Earth, where she was supposed to be setting up a colony. She kidnapped Dag, and after Dag's rescue Gert was held captive - just before Cecilia took everyone and Sslar to K IV, Gert's hazing involved Dag being "initiatied" into the Sisterhood... then Dag died, so Gert is REALLY in trouble with the Sisterhood...

So, Dag, in wraith form, is now back with Adam, doing Death's bidding, but also in contact with wraith-Margo and part of the ethereal Sisterhood; and Wild is stuck with Ben, Gert, Brittle, and Muckles. Redbeard took Cecilia. (Muckles and Gert are also in the Sisterhood).

Redbeard's hand was blown off by Ben, and his saliva can heal the severed stump, and grow back some fleshy finger-type appendages, but with no bones. So, that might make his tickling more of a problem.

I'm thinking Wild is going after Alaag, and Gert is gonna be in trouble AGAIN with the Sisterhood because she cast a glamour over Alaag (BAD Gert!), thus averting Wild's teamwork with him (although Wild was "messing with his mind" to punish him for loving the late Dorothy Goodyear - whose ertswhile lover Craddock is now in bed with Pandora. ) Gert is SUCH a maverick!

Alaag would have gone back to Wild, after Dorothy died, and she'd have taken him back, but first Pandora took on Dorothy's corpse to fool Alaag, and then Gert turned "beautiful again" and has cast a spell on Alaag, too! Which must be broken.

Perhaps now is Wild's time to be "initiated" into the Sisterhood - a visit from Dag and Margo, and help from Mucklebones (who I guess would know psychically that Wild is in trouble)...

the objective is to get EVERYONE who belongs on the Yydryl back there. Who knows, maybe Flint is Wild's little cousin?!!!

Whatcha think? I think we could tie it all together using Redbeard as kin of Adam's giants; Adam is in the ether now with Dag and Death, plotting to destroy Pandora, who has given birth to BIAD's baby.

Ok - so the giant stays. He can kill Quiet and keep up the rampage.

I’ll do what I can to get everyone back on the Yydryl and we can go from there! I'd started out thinking Argus/Flint/Quiet/Mag's rescue ship would take them all away but I hope they chose the Yydryl and get everyone back to a point of collaboration for us as a whole.

Which reminds me - when that little space craft shows up to get the characters listed above - is Wild going to suck it out of the sky for parts? That would work for me, lol. I don't think Mag would like it - but what I'm asking is - if it looks like space junk will it go the route of space junk that had come before it?

What I meant about everyone getting back to Ship was: that was Wild's mission from the Sisterhood.

Ok - got it - so Wild's working on it from her end and well, let's hope Newman can get everyone rustled up to get back too.

Not sure what will happen with Quiet to fulfill that part of Adam’s destiny? We'll see. If the Giant eats him he’ll have to live. CHECK!

Well, I'm caught up on the Space Opera now, after a hiatus involving poor internet connectivity. I hope to post again soon, but probably not today. My street is closed off, in what is supposed to be some sort of street harvest festival. More and more Indians are pouring in, and it's beginning to look more like a powwow. They're setting up a tipi in the street directly in front of my apartment, with less than stellar success so far, but I have confidence they'll get it done.

Because of the street festival-turned-powwow, I'm probably going to be running the streets for a couple of days rather than sitting on ATS, but I'll be back.

With all respect, after reading of your Street Carnival and it's patrons,
I couldn't help -but think of a craggy-guy with cautious-slitted eyes
looking on as everyone enjoyed themselves.

The kids would run, shout and tag each other with toffee-apple stained
hands and the parents would chatter about how the weather was holding
and the nice way the bunting had been arranged.

All the while, Neno watches from the edge, for the dark clouds, strangers
and the vast variables of potential threat.

As my Uncle Vito once told me:

But your posts and pics are always so tasty! I guess it’s in the eyes of the beholder as they say. Anyway - No no apologies necessary - at least on my end.

Look forward to hearing from you all soon - I’ve got a post to put up in the next few - still in hopes to get most corralled back up to head out to Ship or get back together somehow.

I’ve still got something I have to pull into conclusion over Wild’s Giant (and Quiets) but I hope to cover it soon.

Well, it's more than the eye of the beholder here.
It's also what is good for ATS...and that means the T&C

Agreed with DTOM here. There was a significant prior discussion between quite a few staff. However, I gave little input as I was involved in the thread. Staff try very hard not to act as moderators in threads they are active in.
