81 cars disappear from Neb. dealership

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - Some of the dozens of new cars that vanished from a Nebraska car dealership have turned up in other states and warrants have been issued for three missing executives, a prosecutor said Wednesday.

The 81 Fords and Toyotas taken from Legacy Auto Sales were valued at about $2.5 million.

This is a bizarre story. The dealership's entire inventory of new cars were stolen. In order to pull something like this off, it would of involved a large number of people including truck drivers and trucks to transport the vehicles.

In addition to this the executives at the business are missing.

Is this organized crime or conspiracy related? Maybe both?

Heh, the best crimes are pulled off by appearing as though it's official.

You could pull allot off if you look like you're just doing an everyday task.

Grab a hard hat, white labcoat, and a checklist, and you could likely wander into many construction sites, and the blue-collars wouldn't dare question someone who looks like a superior.

Start loading cargo onto trucks, with the crew wearing uniforms, take your time, and people probably won't bother to ask questions. They'll think it's just a regular transport contract.

Whoever pulled this off certainly knew what they were doing.

Talk about Grand Theft Auto.

That is a lot of cars to move in one day.
