Word or phrases that your kids never heard before

Lots of times I say things and my kids look at me like I'm nuts. My kids are teenagers and think they know everything. lol
Here are just a couple of words or phrases that I've said recently and they had no idea what I meant. I think it would be fun to list some of yours. I'm sure there will be big differences between American and UK english words.

traipsing


That's just a couple to start. When I think of more, I'll add to the list.

Oh there are so many.

Volunteering?
Part time job?
Contribution?
Accountability?

I don't have a kid, but I'm sure he would hate me.

lol at your post. I was talking about words you used as a kid, like slang or old words that don't get a lot of use anymore.


And Tentickles, I have no idea what these words mean. lol Could you write what they mean?
