Battle with Iraqis and insurgents at border with Syria.

Full Report Link

Given the current events in Iraq, how long do you think it will be before the war expands into Syria?

Many of the insurgents we are fighting in Iraq are Syrian terrorists.

Looks like now we are trying to stop them at the border.

In my opinion This war will have to expand to Syria and Soon!

We wont have to expand anywhere. We have to end the war and bring our troops back so they wont get killed.

I understand what you are saying.

But no matter what you or I think this war
has changed it's objective from the liberation
of Iraqis and WMD, to an all out war with
radical Islamic terrorists, and Syria is
A terrorist supporting state.

If we plan to win the war on terrorism
An invasion into Syria should be in the works by now.

Or we can pull out of the middle east all
together, and hide here at home inside
our buildings covered in duct tape
and plastic, waiting for what comes next!

Expand into Syria? Where are we going to get the troops to do the job? Re-institue the draft?

Why yes, didn't you know?

You too can serve.

Although they officially deny it: www.sss.gov...

Notwithstanding recent stories in the news media and on the Internet, Selective Service is not getting ready to conduct a draft for the U.S. Armed Forces -- either with a special skills or regular draft. Rather, the Agency remains prepared to manage a draft if and when the President and the Congress so direct. This responsibility has been ongoing since 1980 and is nothing new. Further, both the President and the Secretary of Defense have stated on more than one occasion that there is no need for a draft for the War on Terrorism or any likely contingency, such as Iraq. Additionally, the Congress has not acted on any proposed legislation to reinstate a draft. Therefore, Selective Service continues to refine its plans to be prepared as is required by law, and to register young men who are ages 18 through 25.

"Further, both the President and the Secretary of Defense have stated on more than one occasion that there is no need for a draft for the War on Terrorism or any likely contingency, such as Iraq. " Just like the WMD that we were told were all over the place.

I think a draft is possible, and may happen. could be sooner than you think, or are willing to believe.

Hamas is home in Syria and we all know the record of Hamas.

What you have been seeing in Iraq over the past few weeks are the actions of radical islamic Terrorists who have crossed into Iraq in many cases from Syria, Jordan, and Iran.

They all have a vision of Iraq after the occupation.

They see an Iraq ruled under Islamic law. Much like Afghanistan was under the rule of the Taliban.

There is no way in hell we are going to let that happen in Iraq.

We have no choise now, it's just about time to say "do or die" in this war.

No matter what we went to war for we cannot leave it a worse place than before.

We did not start this war on terrorism.

We cannot back down, we must expand the war.

Or all that we have done in the name of security so far was a waste of time, lives, and money.

i suppose you could label this the trird iraq war.....it is only a matter of time before the u.s. war on terrorism will expand. could the u.s. military take on a third somewhat major conflict??? military is strecthed pretty thin. is it just a coincidence that this 'uprising' just happened to occur when the u.s was planning rotate troops?? when the u.s. finaly rotates troops back home...the military is gunna lose alot of people because those who's enlistment is up are gunna leave. the draft will have to begin again. the u.s. military can not handle such large deployments and keep up morale and professionalism in troop behavior.

large is gunna be HUGE changes in america in the next five years.....r u ready?
