I thought this was brilliant. This is a map of the market on March 5th from smartmoney.com. Everything is drastically in the red, except the bright
green area on the right (Barrick Gold, Goldcorp, Newmont Mining, etc). The green items on the left are Walmart, Family Dollar Stores, and the Dollar
Tree.
I thought this was an incredible snapshot of what's going on. People want gold and cheap places to purchase foods/goods. I'm starting to see this
personally now, it seems like people are not caring as much about bells and whistles, and more about, just getting by.
Have any of you experienced these sorts of things first hand? Can you share some measurable data like above that shows?
