2009 Farm Crisis developing

I will let you know what I see, my house borders 600 acres of corn/soybeans.

Should be a interesting year...

I work as an Engineer in a plastics plant. We mold and paint most of the exterior combine and tractor panels for John Deere.

We do see a slowdown in our construction and forestry divisions, but our Ag divisions are going strong - in fact, we have worked seven days a week for the last two years and are in the process of building a new plant in order to keep up with our orders.

I also live in a big farming community and haven't really seen a slowdown in our area as yet.

Sounds like this time they are going to do this for sure!
We grow potatoes, wheat, corn, sugar beets, & alfalfa here.
