Hey folks

I had a hernia surgery (inguinal or groin) and I am recovering decently but I ahev a few questions for anyone who has gone through this.

Is it typical to have a good 3-4 days of heavy pain when standing and walking? It's as if the pain makes it hard to talk when I am up. When I am reclined I am pretty much ok.

So let me make this easy and just put the questions in a list form

1. How long did the intense pain when sitting/walking last for you?

2. Did you noticed back pain as well as the pain from the cutting?

3. When did you return to normal activity?

1. How long did the intense pain when sitting/walking last for you?

The intense pain lasted about 3-4 days for me.

2. Did you noticed back pain as well as the pain from the cutting?

No. I haven't experienced any back pain after my surgery. No pain from the incision. But I did have pain from the glue they put on my incision to keep it closed. Maybe the pain from the glue is what your experiencing?

3. When did you return to normal activity?

3 weeks for me. But it varies for some people.
