Your Must Worship With Truth

Many people say that all good people of all religions will end up in God's good books, but is that really true? Not according to John 4:24, it says you MUST worship with spirit and TRUTH. The word "must" means there is no other options, but to do that.


John 4:24 (New International Version)
24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.


John 4:24 (Amplified Bible)
24God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).


John 4:24 (Contemporary English Version)
24God is Spirit, and those who worship God must be led by the Spirit to worship him according to the truth.


This has very scary ramifications for people that accept doctrine that God disapproves of as false. Then again Jesus pointed this out at the end of Matthew 25 and he was talking about Christians not non-believers, because the ones he address's called him Lord.

Doesn't mean it's right though....doesn't change that it could have been written by a man makign a story up. Same with my book...could have been written by some Egyptian making it up

If one loves truth, that is of prime importance. Worship reflects the notion of vain glory. If we think of only pure and good things, worship isn't one of them.
